Welcome to Octopus Cleaning. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before submitting a request or booking a service.


2. Services

Octopus Cleaning provides housekeeping and maid services in South Bay, CA and surrounding areas.
Service availability may vary depending on location, scheduling, and demand.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel service requests if necessary.


3. Estimates and Bookings

  • Free estimates can be requested through our online form.

  • Estimates are non-binding and subject to change upon review of the property.

  • Bookings are confirmed only after written or verbal confirmation from our team.


4. Use of Third Parties

To fulfill service requests in a timely manner, Octopus Cleaning may collaborate with trusted third-party providers, partners, or contractors.
These partners are required to maintain professional standards consistent with our quality expectations.


5. Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree to:

  • Provide accurate information when filling out forms or scheduling services.

  • Ensure safe access to the property at the agreed time.

  • Notify us in advance of any hazards, pets, or special conditions.


6. Media Consent (Photos & Video)

By booking and using our services, you authorize Octopus Cleaning to capture photographs and/or video of service areas within the property for the purposes of:

  • Quality control and staff training

  • Marketing and social media content (before-and-after photos)

We take privacy seriously and commit to the following:

  • We do not capture or post identifiable individuals, family members, or personal photos.

  • We do not share personal or sensitive information.

  • We avoid filming personal documents or confidential items.

  • Media is handled securely and respectfully.

If you prefer to opt out of media usage, you may request so in writing prior to your service appointment.


7. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Customers must notify us at least 24 hours in advance to reschedule or cancel a confirmed service.
Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee.


8. Liability

While our team takes the utmost care when performing services, Octopus Cleaning is not liable for:

  • Pre-existing damage or wear and tear on property

  • Items not disclosed as fragile or high value

  • Circumstances beyond our control, such as accidents or delays caused by external factors


9. Website Use

  • The content of this website is for general information purposes only.

  • Unauthorized use of forms, images, or content is prohibited.

  • We do not guarantee that the website will be free from errors or interruptions.


10. Privacy & Data

By submitting a request, you agree that your personal information may be used to process estimates and provide services.
We do not sell or share personal data except with trusted partners necessary to complete your request.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA.


12. Referral Program Terms

Octopus Cleaning offers a Referral Program as a courtesy benefit for our clients.
Participation in this program is voluntary and subject to the following conditions:

  1. Eligibility
    The referring customer (“Referrer”) must be an existing or past client of Octopus Cleaning.
    The referred person (“Referral”) must be a new customer who has not previously booked services with us.

  2. Validation of Credit
    Referral credits are validated only after the referred customer has completed and paid for their first cleaning service in full.

  3. Credit Value & Redemption

    • The Referrer will receive a $10 credit for each successful referral.

    • Credits may be applied toward future cleanings only.

    • Credits are cumulative, meaning you may combine multiple credits toward a single service, up to the total value of that service.

    • If the accumulated credit exceeds the cost of a service, the remaining balance will carry over to the next service.

    • Credits cannot be exchanged for cash, gift cards, or any monetary value.

  4. Limitations

    • Referral credits apply only to completed, paid cleanings.

    • Credits will not be issued for canceled or unpaid bookings.

    • No negative or cash-equivalent credit will be provided (e.g., balances cannot result in a payment owed by Octopus Cleaning).

    • Octopus Cleaning reserves the right to verify referral activity and decline or revoke credits in case of misuse or error.

  5. Program Modifications
    Octopus Cleaning reserves the right to update or discontinue the referral program at any time without prior notice.
    Any accrued credits at the time of modification will remain valid for 90 days.


13. Review Credit Program

To show our appreciation for customer feedback, Octopus Cleaning may offer a $10 review credit to clients who share their experience on Google Reviews.

  1. Eligibility

    • The credit is available to customers who have completed at least one cleaning service with Octopus Cleaning.

    • Reviews must be genuine, based on an actual service experience, and publicly posted on Google.

  2. Credit Validation

    • Credits will be applied only after the review is confirmed by our team.

    • To validate the review, customers must reply to our follow-up email with either:

      • A screenshot of their review, or

      • The name displayed on their Google profile used to post the review.

  3. Credit Use

    • The review credit provides $10 off the customer’s next cleaning service.

    • Credits are not transferable or redeemable for cash.

    • If a customer already has other credits (e.g., referral credits), both may be combined toward a single service, up to the total service value.

    • If total credits exceed the cost of the next cleaning, the remaining balance will carry over to future services.

  4. Limitations

    • One review credit per customer account.

    • Credits will not be applied to canceled or unpaid services.

    • No cash refunds or negative balances will be issued.

    • Octopus Cleaning reserves the right to verify and revoke credits in case of inauthentic or duplicate reviews.

  5. Program Modifications
    Octopus Cleaning reserves the right to modify or discontinue the review credit program at any time.
    Any validated credits prior to program changes will remain valid for 90 days.
